Hahaha I love these comments! Liz should have left Todd. He's an idiot. And why does this book try to make the reader feel bad for Jess? "Her face was pale" "She was paralized in fear" Psshh, maybe if you weren't such a cheater, you wouldn't be so jumpy and guilty.

can I also just admit here when I was a kid, I always read Secca Lake and Seneca Lake and Lila's Fowler and Lila Flower? And I was all sort of messed up when the Ciao, Sweet Valley book came out and I have no idea how to say the cover so I could tell my mom I wanted it.

I would have been super confused about the lozenge, too, when I was a kid. I can't believe I never read this one. I mean it's probably best for my brain I didn't because I am convinced these books melted a little piece of brain matter every time I read one.

That doesn't bode well for me and the stack of Sweet Valley books I have back in Seattle.

Ha! I remember whiny old Patrick. This is the book that my 9 year old self slammed down on the table while I heaved "GOD, this series is STUPID." I did read more of these turkeys after that, but with a way different perspective.
