I’m cheating by posting this exact same post on both of my blogs.

Interesting things about me:

1. I love Disney World. My husband and I have annual passes and we go at least once every couple of months.
2. I know next to nothing about current pop culture. I don’t know what bands are popular, what movies are out, what shows are good. I think it’s because of my DVR; I don’t watch commercials anymore so I have no idea what’s going on in the world.
3. I have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He is adorable and smart and I love him to pieces.
4. My family is of Irish descent (what else could I be with a name like Shannon?) so people are always giving me Irish things. People love to buy things with shamrocks on them, but I guess if you’re not Irish you need an excuse to do so. I am that excuse for a few people. “Oh, Shannon would love this! I have to get it!” It’s fine with me. I like Irish things.  I did, however, get a really creepy Irish Santa figurine for Christmas. I’m not sure what to do with it.
5. My favorite color is purple. Green runs a close second.
6. I used to think I wanted to live in a haunted house. Then I spent a few nights at the Stanley Hotel and was scared out of my mind the whole time. I’m pretty sure a ghost followed me home.
7. Ever since I started my Sweet Valley High blog, I find it difficult to just sit down and read a book without taking notes or writing a summary.

1. Psyched on the Prairie – I just found this one yesterday and got hooked.
2. Worst of the Worst Fanfiction – Yes, I’m nominating one that nominated me. I just discovered this one yesterday as well, and it deserves an award.
3. …in the Attic: A VC Andrews Blog – She promises she hasn’t abandoned us and will be back as soon as she finds her misplaced book.
4. I did it, but I’m blaming you. – Okay, so Callie is a really close personal friend of mine, but she is hilarious and everyone should check out her blog.
5. The Angry Office Manager – I only discovered this kind of recently. It looks like it used to be a blog about this woman’s job, but she’s actually left her job and spent some time in California and Denver and is now about to embark on a journey to Paris. It’s kind of amazing reading about the changes in her life.
6. ABC Not Just For Kids – Lorelai is Australian so I didn’t actually watch any of the shows she recaps, but I love the way she recaps them and I’m nominating her in the hopes that it motivates her to update soon.
7. Gourmet Scum and Other Fun Stuff – I love Cordee’s Christopher Pike recaps so so much.

I actually kind of hate these things because I feel bad leaving people out! I love all the blogs on my blogroll over there, so please check those out, too.

1. Stephen King – I am a huge Stephen King fan. I know a lot of stuffy literary types don’t take him seriously, but that’s okay by me.  The Dark Tower series is absolutely one of the greatest things I’ve ever read.

2. Cheez-Its – I cannot live without them.

3. Lost – My very favorite show on television.

4. The Sims – I have spent so many hours playing the different versions of this game. It’s really kind of sad.

5. Shoes – I’m going to eventually need a whole new closet just to keep my shoes in.

6. Crispy Bacon Ranch salads from McDonald’s – I could eat three of these a day.

7. TV show box sets – This is the greatest thing anyone has ever thought of. I kind of love having the box sets almost as much as I love watching the shows.
