The guy on this cover looks just like Ben Affleck! Hahaha.

I just scored the entire SVH series for a sweet deal and I've been re-reading them all recently. I just stumbled across your blog and LOVE it! I've been reading each book and then your blog entry afterwards. Your summaries are hilarious.

You know, it's really hard to tell if we're supposed to hate him or not. At first, it comes off like he was just taken aback when he made those jokes, then we hardly hear about him while Shelley's all in love with Jim, and when we do hear about him, he's always hanging around with his ex-girlfriend so Shelley's pissed at him. So I don't know, but I'm glad Shelley didn't just melt when he finally came around.

I’m an average height, 5?4?-ish, and I always wanted to be tall. Now, somehow, I’m the tallest person where I work. I still think it’s funny when they come to me when something is too high for them to reach.

You know, Greg doesn't really come off as a total dick here. I mean, he's uncomfortable when he realises that his best friend has feelings for him, and inadvertently touches on her sore spot, and by the time he's finally realised that he actually likes her why am I over-thinking this?

Being 6' tall (or damn close to it) I have to say Shelly just wasn't looking at the situation the right way. For instance, you can totally reach the top shelf in the kitchen and when something falls behind your chest of drawers your arms are long enough to actually reach it. Being tall rocks!!

Yeah, I thought it was interesting that she actually did come to terms with her problem, rather than her problem just going away. So that's good. It's just too bad she needed a boy to help her do it.

I'm almost surprised she didn't magically get shorter before she worked out her personal issues...like when that fat girl (Robin, maybe?) got skinny before her life worked out.

Agreed. If it weren't for men, I'd have no sense of self-worth.

I hear you, his eyebrows are doing a cute thing!

I totally agree with you on the cover. They're actually both decent looking. I really like Jim's eyebrows. /weirdness

Also, thank FSM for men, I don't know how I would overcome all of my issues, challenges, and false expectations if it weren't for them. Who needs therapy or self-realizations?
